April Reads 2019

Hello and welcome to my April Reads

April was a quiet one as the kids were on their Easter holidays so we were out and about a lot but I got through some good books. There’s a bit of something for everyone in there, YA, sci-fi, crime, graphic novels and middle grade!

  • Other Words For Smoke by Sarah Maria Griffin ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • The Stars Now Unclaimed by Drew Williams ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • The Dark Game by Jonathan Janz ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • The Darkness by Ragnar Jónasson ⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • The Island by Ragnar Jónasson ⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Riverdale Vol 3 by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Shades Of Magic Vol 1 by VE Schwab ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • We All Fall Down by Daniel Kalla ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Hangman by Daniel Cole ⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • City Of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My favourite was Other Words For Smoke it will probably be in my top books of the year it was just stunning! We All Fall Down was fantastic it reminded me a bit of The Da Vinci Code but with the plague 😁 And City Of Ghosts was a fantastic middle grade book about a girl who can see ghosts, my 11 year old is reading it now but she’s taking her time cause she thinks some parts are a bit scary.
