Hello and welcome back to My Week In Books 📚
I read some really good books this week, proper good horror from Joe Hill and some beautifully dark storytelling from Heather Kassner then a fantastic bit of Detective work in a sci-fi setting from Aliette de Bodard, it was almost like a sci-fi version of Sherlock. So the countdown is on, WorldCon arrives in Dublin this Thursday and I can’t wait. Much of this week will be spent buying books, talking about books, attending panels on books, everything to do with books but probably very little reading! So here is how this week went..
Read
- Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill
- The Bone Garden by Heather Kassner
- The Tea Master and the Detective by Aliette de Bodard
Posts
- NetGalley: The Kingdom by Jess Rothenberg
- Mini Review: Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill
- City Of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab – Book Nook
Books
- Dark Ink by Gary Kemble (Titan Books)
- Wonderland edited by Marie O’Reagan and Paul Kane (Titan Books)
So that’s it from this week, if you don’t hear from me next week it’s because I’m having the best time at WorldCon but I’ll catch up the following week 🤗📚✨
Have a wonderful time at WorldCon! 👍
