Wow, wow, wow! Can I just leave it at that because damn I am finding it hard to put words together to tell you how much I loved this book!

Now I’m not gonna lie, as a BIG fan of The Illuminae Files (I highly recommend that series to everyone and their mother that wants to dip their toe into Sci Fi) I was a BIT worried and nervous about Aurora Rising because Illuminae was such a work of genius I couldn’t help but think no way could these guys pull off another interstellar masterpiece BUT THEY DID!! And knowing its just book 1 in this new series I’m actually dead.. I have to wait for book 2 now and I mean this is not a little book its close to 500 pages and I read it in 6 and a half hours! No words!!

Well I better get some words together because I’m sure you guys would like an actual review and not just me raving so..

If you’re looking for a new squad of misfits to fangirl over then you’re in the right place. This isn’t the squad Tyler (our Alpha Squad Leader) wanted but its the only one he has ended up with. Along with his twin sister Scarlett (The Face) their best friend Cat (The Ace) with pilot skills to envy, Zila (The Brains) shes scary smart, Kal (The Tank) kickass adonis also known as Pixieboy and Finian (The Gearhead) he likes to break things more than fix them. Then we have Aurora or Auri, our girl out of time and the reason behind this crazy mission, that’s not a mission, that they have landed themselves in. She is where the story begins, a mystery to everyone including herself. Can this ragtag group pull together to find out who/whats behind it all?

You’ll just have to wait until May to find out!! But I promise it’s so worth the wait, you can get your preorders in now.
