Hello and welcome back to My Week In Books 📚
This week my kids were on their midterm so we took a day off up to Dublin (they had hospital appointment but that was over nice and quick) and we headed to the National Museum Of Ireland for Archeology and the Natural History Museum. They had an Ancient Egypt exhibition which was fantastic as I’ve always been fascinated by the mummies and pyramids and to our surprise they had actual sarcophagus with Mummies and even a mummified cat! My youngest was fascinated my eldest wasn’t sure how she felt about it especially by the time we got to the Bog Bodies display and there were actual skeletons freaked her out all part of history though! The best part about the museums apart from being a fun is they are free so even better for some midterm fun.
Back to books here’s how I got on this week.

It was fascinating how well preserved some of them were, with hair still in place, fingernails it was mad, bit gruesome as they were in bad shape but sure its all learning.

I’m never too sure about Egyptian artefacts either, probably something to do with a very old Doctor Who episode. 😱
