Full on had to take a minute just to catch my breath once I finished reading this.
“BEFORE YOU READ THIS BOOK
I WANT YOU TO KNOW THREE THINGS:
1. The police are looking to charge me with murder.
2. No one knows who I am. Or how I did it.
3. If you think you’ve found me. I’m coming for you next.
After you’ve read this book, you’ll know: the truth is far more twisted…”
Twisted by Steve Cavanagh is the perfect name for this book, normally I hate being told in advance that a book has a twist but in this case a twist or twists are what this story centers around and there are twists left, right and center, I felt like I was twisted up in knots!
I have to say I really enjoyed it. I didn’t know what way it was going to go and it kept me on my toes which kept me really interested. I enjoyed the character development of Maria because at the start I thought she was a bit of a sad case but as the book progressed I was cheering her on.
I liked the whole concept of the book, a writer writing about writers is always going to be interesting, I mean they know how it all really goes, Trying to figure out who the real writer was, was another mystery. I enjoyed the ups and downs and how it all unfolded.
I think a lot of people will really enjoy this, it was certainly Twisted but that’s what made it fun!
Many thanks to Orion for approving a copy on NetGalley, all opinions are my own and I am not paid to give them.
