Hello and welcome, yesterday I shared my Standout Reads Of 2018 and now I’m about to reveal my Top 3!!
These are the books that made me go WOW! They made me stop and think, they gave me Book hangovers and lingered in my brain for longer than expected, I happily recommended them far and wide and will continue to do so.
Without further ado..
The Seven Deaths Of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton
My own words from my review (read in full here) back in February..
“Definitely the BEST book I have read so far this year really setting the bar high. I recommend setting a weekend aside for this book, lock the door, grab some snacks and a snuggly blanket and prepare for an epic adventure. Just to add I am purposely telling you absolutely nothing about it aside from how awesome I think it is and the blurb because I don’t want to give anything away, do what I did and go in blind because it won’t be what you’re expecting and that makes it even better.”
Changeling by Matt Wesolowski
(Six Stories and Hydra all 3 of them as a whole had me absolutely obsessed!!)
“Changeling fully gave me goosebumps and the sound of tapping is forever going to creep me out! With a missing child and stories about fairies and witches the scariest thing about this tale was discovering the real life monster that existed among them all.”
You can read my full review here.
Good Samaritans by Will Carver
“I knew from the moment I started reading this book that I was going to enjoy it but I did not expect to have my mind so completely blown. It is so very cleverly written, pulling you in and in just a little bit more until you can’t go more than a moment without wanting to find out what happens next. It leaves so many avenues open so you still don’t quite know what’s going on or who the danger is until it starts to open up and reveal a bit more to you until you finally reach the end and are left utterly speechless by how it all came together.”
My full review is here.
I highly recommend these books for you if you haven’t already read them and if you have what did you think of them?
Whoop whoop, Seven Deaths and Changeling.👌

Two of these were in my top ten for 2018, Seven Deaths and Good Samaritans. I finished reading Changeling a couple of days ago and I think it’s the best episode of Six Stories yet.

Oh, these are all on my list for this year ❤ 🙂 I'm most excited about Changeling. This whole podcast format is still new to me, but it seemed to work so well in Six Stories.
