What I’m Watching On Netflix

A little look at what I have been watching on Netflix.

I spent the vast majority of Bank Holiday Monday binge watching every episode of the BBC Pride & Prejudice series on Netflix and I have no regrets. It was wonderful and oh Colin Firth was everything I thought Mr. Darcy would be after reading the book, he was such an awkward ass I was shouting at the telly “Just tell her you love her and that yer man is a Dick!!” it was absolutely 6 hours well spent. It made me feel like I was born in the wrong era (although I couldn’t be dealing with men telling me what to do) but the outfits, the hair, walking through the garden, writing letters and reading books then being swept off your feet.. yes I could deal with that. Now I am on the hunt for more period dramas to delve into and I’ll update you on what I find.

Season 3 of ShadowHunters has arrived on Netflix with a new episode weekly, the wait is killing me each week but I’m really enjoying the episodes so far.

The Outsider starring Jared Leto was fantastic, very intense it’s about an American who becomes a member of the Japanese Yakuza. I love Leto so this was definitely one to watch and it was really good.

Ok I finally decided to watch Riverdale and OMG OBSESSED!! I binged my way through season 1 and I’m hanging of the edge of my seat for season 2 I just need to get some reading and writing done before I can reward myself with a good binge. If you like Pretty Little Liars then you NEED to watch Riverdale its brilliant and the fact that the dads in it are 90 hotties like Luke Perry and Skeet Ulrich just yes watch it!!! #Obsessed

My kids current Netflix obsession is Horrible Histories they are loving it, funny, gross and educational whats not to love! They’re also big into the Trolls series and Glitter Force Doki Doki. And Gangsta Granny has been watched a few times at this stage.

What have you been watching lately?

(I am a member of the NetflixStreamTeam, I received a gift of a Netflix subscription but all opinions are my own and I am not paid to give them.)

  1. I love Riverdale too!
Although, i kinda feel like s2 is now just dragging on a bit. I wonder why these latest episodes were not made into a different story line as season 3 or something

  2. As for the period drama, I recently binged on The Parade’s End – also a BBC drama and really entertaining! πŸ™‚
Shadowhunters- I thought season 1 was soooo much cringe! But really liked S” and am now also enjoying the weekly episode πŸ™‚
Riverdale- I have just caught up with S2 goings on… I did think S1 was better but I have been enjoying S2, too… I think Luke Perry and the guy who plays FP keep me going back πŸ˜€
The outsider- I was wondering about it and I think I will need to try it πŸ™‚ Oh, last night I started watching Atypical.. it popped up in my feed. Am about 2 episodes in- it’s about 18 y/o autistic guy who starts his journey on the dating scene.

  3. Yes, I love Riverdale too! Season two was good, just not quite as good as the first season. At least for me, lol. Shadowhunters is another favorite of mine, totally behind on the current season though. Just finished the Wet Hot American Summer series. So funny! Loved every episode! Definitely a show to watch for a laugh.

      1. LoL, I get that. I am more and more these days waiting for seasons of a show to be over before I tune in. I like to watch the episodes back to back sometimes instead of weekly.
