Mini Review : The Thirst by Jo Nesbo

There’s a new killer on the streets.

A woman is found murdered after an internet date. The marks left on her body show the police that they are dealing with a particularly vicious killer.

And he’s out for blood.

Under pressure from the media to solve the crime, the force know there’s only one man for the job. But Harry Hole is reluctant to return to the place that almost took everything from him. Until he starts to suspect a connection between this killing and his one failed case…

The Thirst is the 11th book in the Harry Hole detective series but it can be read as a stand alone and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Iโ€™ve never read any of the Harry Hole books before but you can bet Iโ€™m going to read them all now! I saw The Snowman in the cinema and loved it but I was really left wanting more by the end of it and now I have it.. I previously reviewed the audiobook of Blood on Snow by Jo Nesbo on my old blog, it was narrated by Patti Smith and I loved how rough and ready his style is. I was totally thrown for a loop being fully sure that I had it all figured out then right near the end I was like WAIT WHAT I did not see that coming!! I LOVE when that happens. I will absolutely read this again, need to go back to the beginning first though. If you love crime thrillers then add this to your list because you will love it.

  1. Ah, this sounds good. I have been meaning to read Nesbo… All the fans of his book can’t be wrong about how good the books are so I best get on the bandwagon! ๐Ÿ˜€ Oh, and I love that their standalones… just jump in at any book in the series!
